Windows 2008 server and Testlink + JIRA

Postby narsu » Fri Dec 14, 2012 6:56 pm

Hello!

I would like to throw a question..

I have been building solution described below... Now realized there is huge problems with mssql drivers in PHP 5.3 :(
I have to try something else.. I spend alot of time with this setup today, I would like to check first is there any reason for trying continue..

Is it possible to run environment like this below.

One Windows server 2008 R2 which has XAMPP package with MySQL 5.x + PHP 5.2 <------------this is important aspect?

server has in apache server who is serving two different testlink installations.

TEAM1 (~50 users)-Testlink installation 1.9.3 (Mysql) + LDAP integration enabled+ JIRA 4.4.6+ (installed on mssql) with old TL DB issue tracker integration
TEAM2 (15 users) -Testlink installation 1.9.5 (MySQL) + LDAP integration enabled + SOAP integrated to JIRA 4.4.6 (which is installed on mssql)

Is this combination impossible? Problem is I cannot update 1.9.3 before there is support for multiple LDAP sources?

Is PHP 5.2 a limitation to run 1.9.5 (Deprecated functions??) is there problems with SOAP integration if I use PHP 5.2 as plaform?

PHP 5.2 is not an option, you have to upgrade to 5.3.x.
I've runned without issues on windows 7 using XAMPP and MSSQL2008 express.

Regarding multiple LDAP, if you had a solution for 1.9.3 it have to work on 1.9.4 and up

Thank you for information!

I made a decision to try by disable LDAP integration from TEAM 1 testlink and upgrade both testlink installations to 1.9.5.

Thank you!
