Display of last run execution notice at the test execution

Postby Pavlik » Mon Jun 06, 2016 2:41 pm

Is it possible to configure the view of test execution like this:

1. I have a failed test case at build #1
2. I have to retest this test case at build #2
3. In the view "test execution" I see the information about the last run: date and time, user, build and state=failed
4. Is it possible to add to this information also the execution notice of the last run of this failed test case?

Unfortunately I can't add an image to this forum.

While the test execution I mark a test as failed and write in the text area why I mean this test failed.
This text, e.g. "value b calculated wrong. Get 5 instead 6." I woud like to see this text at the information field about the last status of this test case during the execution at the next build.

"Notes / Description" is the name of the text area in English.

In the report "failed test cases" it is called "execution notes"

1. By the test report "failed test cases" You see also the column "execution notes"
2. At "test execution" You see a execution history by some test cases, which already failed at last build.
3. I would like to see in this execution history for this particular test case not only "date and time of fail, build of fail, tested by <<user>>", but also "execution notes". This would be helpful for the tester by retesting this test case to know, what was a problem by last execution, which failed.

I hope You can understand me now

May be it's also time to provide the screen shot required, or is too much work for you?
Hope your customers provide you same kind of details when they need a feature.
