TL190 (dev):Results page (left side) does not show any thing

Postby aksinghv » Mon Jun 29, 2009 11:01 am

Hi,
I synced the HEAD to the latest (today morning India Time). When i click on the Results, i do not see any part on the left side where i can select any reports. On the left side "Description of Test Reports and Metrics" is displayed.

When i use same db with TL 1.8.3, i am able to see the left side and generate the results.

Could anyone throw light what could have happened or missing in the TL190 package.

Regards,
Anjani Singh

Hi, it's a bug related to a rework of database names. A bug is already filed and it will soon be fixed in HEAD

See this bug:
http://www.testlink.org/mantis/view.php?id=2621

Its a small fix that you can fix by yourself if you want:

In this file: lib/functions/reports.class.php
Find the row:
class tlReports

and replace it with:
class tlReports extends tlObjectWithDB

LEft side of the reports in Result tab does not display

Postby aksinghv » Wed Jul 01, 2009 2:43 am

Hi Erik,

I tried. Thanks for the suggestion.
It works in the IE8 but does not work in FF3.5.

In FF3.5, LEft side is blank.

Anyway, i am able to work with IE8 and able to generate the reports.

In events tab, i do not see anything that points that there is some issue.

Anjani

That sounds weird to me, as this bug should have nothing to do with your browser. Either it sends some html output or it doesn't.

To be clear: the modification fixed the issue in IE8? (i.e. it was broken before)
And firefox was no difference with/without the change ?

Do you get anything in your logs? Webserver log and/or testlink/logs/

Hi,

I was getting following error:
[01-Jul-2009 12:37:25] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined method tlReports::getSupportedSerializationFormatDescriptions() in C:\tl\tl190\lib\functions\object.class.php on line 111

Now, i rechecked and did a clean up of the browser cache and i am not getting the errors. Probably, i missed something.

It has fixed.

Thanks for your help. You made my day.
