Ghost String

Postby xray5483 » Thu Sep 26, 2013 12:02 pm

I saw this option in several places in Test Link but don't actually know it's purpose. What is it actually used for? Could anyone give me an example please. Thanks in advance...

It's apparently a rudimentary and convenient Testcase reuse convention. For example, including the ghost string of another Testcase in the description of a new Testcase makes a link to that other Testcase. If it's more than that I hope someone else will respond to this thread.

Hi everyone,

Can we have more details on this features please ?
What's the difference between this feature and link option ? It's a link that opens a pop-up.

Thanks a lot
