Creating ticket from Testlink in Service Desk Project

Hi,

we're thinking about getting Jira Service Desk - one reason would be to save licence cost because all "customers" (=Ticket reporters) would be free.
I now tried to create an issue via REST API for a Service Desk project via the usual REST API call but it doesn't work.
I guess that is because you wold still need a licenced user to create an issue via that REST call. Does any one have experience with that?
Is there a REST call for creating an issue via the "Customer Portal" interface that would work with the Testlink REST settings?

EDIT: I guess this is the correct REST call: https://docs.atlassian.com/jira-service ... merRequest
But I'm not sure if the Testlink interface would be prepared for that or if work has to be done to be able to post these requests. Would I just have to use a different create URI ?
