Define Test cases for test phases

Postby San_Dan » Sat Oct 11, 2008 9:03 am

Is it possible to define(mark) test cases according to test phases? For e.g. is it possible to mark test cases for Smoke/Sanity Testing, System testing, regression testing.

For e.g. I have total 100 test cases in all. In smoke testing, I will execute only 20 test cases out of these. Similarly I will mark some of them for prerelease testing.
Is there any way to mark them like this so that I will be able to assign these selected test cases to testers during Smoke testing or prerealease testing.
