Via custom field

Ok, I've found the answer myself.
One needs to use custom fields for this!

There is new problem now, although its created and assigned with type "TextArea" its still not visible!

any clues ?

I've written one for .txt to .csv migration

I've written one for .txt to .csv migration. We had .html and we wanted them in .csv, the fun part was to arrange TEST-STEPs in a single cell. First we saved all html as .txt. It worked fine.

But I guess your need is different, still let me know if you need any help.

Ok, let me simplify:

How to handle One Test Plan X May OS * Many Users situation?
Many times one test plan gets executed on multiple OS, do how to handle "assign test cases for execution" ?

Ratan, One row must have one test case, you will need to rearrange them yourself. In Steps column, you enter multiple lines using ALT+ENTER technique. so, you go to each call paste your line (without newline) and press ALT+ENTER, this keeps the control in the same cell and lets you enter multi-line ...

Hello Great People, How to handle the situation where one test case gets executed on multiple os by multiple users with multiple builds? What to do? How to add a new field

I just started using testlink 1.7. I want to know how to add a new field.
Basically, I'm importing data from csv file and it has "Prerequisite" field. Can this be done?
