Turns out the upgrade to MySQL hadn't gotten the system all the way up to 5.6. The post http://forum.testlink.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8011 helped to make it clear that we needed to be at MySQL 5.6.5 or greater. After upgrading MySQL to 5.6.36 the upgrade sql scripts completed successfully.

I'm experiencing the same problem. We made sure the MySQL db was upgraded to the required 5.6.x level but the error persists and is preventing completion of the upgrade. Could it be that CURRENT_TIMESTAMP is coming back all zeros for some reason and that's not allowed? Any suggestions on a workaroun...

Thanks for the reply. I have looked at the documentation but it's not clear to me, hence my question. I think you are confirming that the upgrade needs to be done in steps - 1.9.11-> 1.9.12, 1.9.12->1.9.13, 1.9.13->1.9.14, 1.9.14->1.9.15.

Upgrade 1.9.11 to 1.9.15

From reading the documentation it is not clear to me if I need to upgrade 1.9.11->1.9.12->1.9.13->1.9.14->1.9.15 or if I can jump directly from 1.9.11->1.9.15. It looks like the same script in each release, not sure it the script itself differs between releases. Please elaborate for me. Sincerely, S...
