Re: Test Reports, only generate 1 platform test results
Thought I'd update since I'm askign this question again today. After a while, not using this tool often I have found that the reports are not as useful as live data in a dashboard unless yo uare using testlink to do 3rd party testing or certifications where people love paper. The python API bindings...

Adding a platform guidance
There are 2 new switch options when adding a platform * on design * on execution //imgur.com/a/C6u5ZKo https://imgur.com/a/C6u5ZKo I've not seen any documentation indicating their purpose or interactions. This is on 1.9.20 - and I notice that "on execution" defaults to "on" once ...

Should I be able to export to CSV
https://imagizer.imageshack.com/img921/5139/lIzQGe.png When I click on the Excel icon on top here, I am expecting a CSV file generated/download or redirect, the only thing I get is about 15 seconds later a plank white frame (Using Chrome). I'm missing something obvious in my workflow here. I really ...

Re: Introductions
Thanks Francisco I'm still poking around on the edges, and when I do find how to make a server backup and get onto the machine to run the upgrade steps, I will be giving that a try. I am very keen to learn how the system normally behaves before I upgrade and then have a very small point of reference...

Introductions
Hi , I'm joining in from the UK. I've been an automation test engineer for ~ 15 years now, with C++ background 15 years before that, so I'm still 50% a coder right now. I am in a new job where the last person installed Testlink 1.9.15 , so I have inherited a configuration which I don't yet understan...

Re: Delete old test executions
Hi Nitropower, that is a cool idea. In terms of QA process, you should plan to never delete old executions, these are your proof. I am a total newbie to Testlink, but... I'd be virtualizing the server, and just adding discs , unless the server is lowing down, and in that case you want to export them...

Re: Test Reports, only generate 1 platform test results
I'm totally new to the tool, so far I'm just riding the learning curve of a new job, but I had similar clarification needed around reporting. I'm not even sure I am creating my test plan in a useful way yet, since it looks like a "plan" is not really the same thing as a test environment. B...
