Ability to export test-cases via external invocation
Hello, We have a process where we export the test cases defined a test-specification to XML file format. We then use XSLT to convert the test-cases into test-case documentation that is posted online. We would like to completely automate this process by invoking a call from our system that would expo...

Export test results to XML
I apologize if this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find it by searching. I've experienced GREAT difficulties in creating TL reports. Instead, I would like to simply export results to XML format so that I can apply XSLT and achieve my desired report. Is it possible to do this (I can't...

Re: Linked-Copies of Test Cases
Sorry for the delay guys, I didn't get any notifications of responses. The answer is NO, I was not able to solve this efficiently. In my case I am testing a product that abides by a technology standard (an internationally accepted set of interfaces). As part of my test plan I conduct interoperabilit...

Re: customize report / new report
Did anybody ever make any progress on creating custom reports?
The logic in the script files are incredibly difficult to follow. Any tips would be appreciated.

Custom Reports Seem REALLY Difficult
Hello, I need to create an alternate 'test plan' report which simply displays the test suite description first, and then displays a single 2-column table below it where each row is a test-case; and the 2 columns are the test-case description and then the test-case expected result(s). I've looked at ...

Linked-Copies of Test Cases
Is it possible to create a linked-copies of a test-case? I don't want to create a copy of a test-case, but would actually like to define a test-case once and then have the ability to store it in multiple locations. This would be useful in the case where I have a standard test defined and then have &...

Re: Test Report Import (*.XML) using own test-case Id
Actually, to be clear... it is the "Test Case Title" field that I would like to import against. I realize that its not a keyed/unique field, even though I'm using it that way. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Test Report Import (*.XML) using own test-case Id
In review of the XML Test Result import documentation and in playing with the functionality I have seen how to use the internal database Id and the external Id of a test-case. However, I actually need to use the test-case Id that I have defined, as in the value that I enter as the test-case Id. I ha...
