Thanks for your help on this. I changed the PHP version to 5.4 from 5.2 and all is working OK now.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I have checked the permissions on the template_c and these are set correctly. It seems that the application is not redirecting to create Project. I understand if no project is present the user should be redirected to create one. This is not happening and I am not sure why?...
