Re: Add Documents or links to Documentation List
Apologies for reviving an old post. I am posting an example here in case anyone searching for the same topic reads this thread. Here is how I added a hyperlink linking to a Word document that is hosted on a separate (MS Sharepoint) server. In my solution, the hyperlink is not located inside the Docu...

Re: Whole suite test cases on single page
You can see all the test cases in one "screen" by going to Reports and generating a test specification report or a test plan report.

Yes in fact, just a few days ago someone posted essentially the same question. Look a few posts earlier. Maybe you will get a better response if you reply to that post.baamster wrote: Anyone??

Re: DB model of Testlink 1.9
This question has been asked several times in the past. Try using the search function of the forum.
There is no official documentation on the DB schema. There are some people working on it though, possibly for release with TestLink 2.0.

Pay attention to all the $tlCfg->exec_cfg options, especially the following: I'm sorry, I copied & pasted the wrong lines...Here is the config parameter to pay close attention to: // TRUE -> History for all builds will be shown // FALSE -> Only history of the current build will be shown [STANDA...

What happens if you open a web browser and go to the following URL?
http://10.50.18.188/lib/api/xmlrpc.php
You should see a page with only the following text:
XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.

Re: Test execution - comment from previous run is not visibl
I do see the execution history/status/notes for all builds after I click the 'Show complete execution history' button. I suggest you compare your config files from 1.8.5 and 1.9.x. Pay attention to all the $tlCfg->exec_cfg options, especially the following: // TRUE -> History for all platforms (if a...

Re: No more BUG Management feature?
You did not mention bug tracker config file in <testlink193_home>/cfg/gforge.cfg.php
Be sure to configure as you did in the past with <testlink185_home>/cfg/gforge.cfg.php

Re: Linked-Copies of Test Cases
Sound like the exact purpose of a "Test Plan". Can you not create separate Test Plan for each "different products that I want to conduct that test against"?
Also look into Platforms (new in version 1.9.x). Perhaps a different platform for each different product.

Re: Test execution - comment from previous run is not visibl
While executing a test on Build 2, details of the previous test execution should be displayed near top of the frame. Just below this is a blue bar with an icon on far right. Click the icon and the blue bar will expand and display comment/note from that previous execution.

Re: Reference Test Case Steps In Multiple Test Cases?
Supply the ID of the reference test case in description/pre-conditions/ or in a step.
Also, you could put the direct URL to the test case.

See this configurable in config.inc.php:
I've no experience using this feature. Try searching around this configurable.
Code: Select all
$tlCfg->exec_cfg->enable_test_automation = DISABLED;
