Suppressing system generated test case number

Since the system generated test case number is not in sequence within a project, I wonder could be it be suppressed while printing test cases.

Besides, could we print a custom field before test case title?

Please advise. Thank you.

Regards,
Francis

I decided to move from evaluation into trial with TestLink on a real project. Both have their plus and minus. Both tools claimed to be open sources and free. QaTraq seems to have a thoughtful process. However, it provides no report unless you are willing to pay. In other words, you can keep entering...

Either way should be able to achieve the objective of separating data from system/business logic. In my 2 cents opinion, XML carries only data unless system logics is implemented in the form of data. Otherwise, XML files contain mainly data only. However, both have pros and cons. DB solution require...

Thank you. Now, I realize that when a requirement is added to a requirement document, a test suite and test case will be generated automatically. The test suite bears the title of the requirement document and test case bears the title of requirement. This has confused me because I used requirement d...

Is there any test tool provide these feature? I still think these should be part of the test step description.

Instead, I think it would be more useful to allow multiple test steps and expected results in each test case.

I found it. 1. Select "Requirement Specification Documents" under "Requirements" section. 2. Select requirement document from the list of documents. 3. Click "Create New REQ" button for entering a requirement. 4. Click "Import" button for importing requirements.
