Re: Test Result Matrix issue

planned on 19/3/2011 for 1.9.2 release. It must be broken due to the large no. of data that you might using or the environment that you made. Right now In my local server i had 3 projects each not less than 250 cases and one round of execution is completed.
For me feature is working fine.

Re: How to managed test cases across releases

@ renjithgm
you can run as you did previously.

@Kob
Version is different from the word test cases.

Say your test case version is 2 which is as per the latest requirement. there is no point in executing version 1 as it is obselete. I hope you can understand what i mean.

Re: How to managed test cases across releases

IMHO, This is not a good practice, Why do some one want to re-xecute the old version of test cases? I suggest you to understand the process of your company before you start testlink. VERSION : Version of test case will only change if any change in the requirement/specification. if version changes yo...

You need to close the existing build before you execute the new set.

Re: How to managed test cases across releases

you can inactive the obselete test cases in this way when you try to add test plan, you can not see the inactivated test cases and for the test cases that you edited, change the version and assign the changed version of test cases to test plan. if you already assigned test case to test plan and you ...

Re: Can a test suite be deactivated/deprecated?

We can not deactivate the test suite, but what you can do is just ignore the test suite while you allocating tests for the test plan

Re: requirement version vs revision

did you try in clicking 'view history' ? Version : Create a new version if requirement change. Revision, say the requirement is correct but there is typo that you want to correct and you missed it so you can do revision. example; Version 1 and revision 1 is what when you create a new requirement, wh...

Re: Way to get coverage information?

TestLink is test managment tool, it does not tell how much percentage of test you covered. Well you can get the percentage based/failed etc. or the execution percentage of build etc.

Re: XML generator for TL 1.9

now i understand why many people point out in querying about the xml genrator, i see lot of pain in it, for a moment i thought the old format was easy, but the elmintaion of excel import was a huge loss. Now iam planning to lower my upgradation to 1.8.5 in implementing.
