2 and 3 points:
We can have a generic framework, rather than complicating the framework with minimal standards we can have. Why not use the TestLink + Jenkins + Selenium (WEBdriver or RC) + TestNG (reporting) for execution.

Not Enough Specify what version your using

Did you atleast try to create a new project/observe whether it is asking you to create from the existing project?
Did you search in forums before asking this question?
Did you look at help file?

As of now we dont have in the current version, how ever there are few reports which are being developed on the test plan and build history related metrics, you can go mantis and find

Just a small adding to the tutorial which is present above. I used "ANT" instead of "maven" and the reason am running my selenium scripts using ANT. What I mean to say we can also use ANT

There is no way that you can split a project, if you wanted to sepearte the projects, you need to create a project/requirements/test plan etc, and you are supposed to import. The other way is get some DB guy if you can ask him to set the queries i.e insert statements
