From 1.9.0, TestLink stopped supporting for excel, in this result even when you import through excel as you said "Title, Summary, Steps, Expected Results" from these fields only Title and summary will be imported, rest of the two fields data will not be imported. I have worked this in 1.9....

Still I link a test case version to the product version ... I don't see a need to create a new test case, but I guess that depends on how you work or like to work. IMHO, this is not a good practice. test case version change only when functionality or requirement changes. not with the product versio...

different versions great, So both test case is different in v1 and v2 of your product. then maintain two sets of test cases which solves your problem again version is different from the word test case, from the above i see that its product version but not the test case version, do not mix up the tes...

Simple answer say your PLan is over and now while creating Plan B you will be selecting to copy the builds from previous one this makes all the execution history also gets copied to plan B

Similar feature is available in 1.9 version, when you create a test plan B you have a option to copy all builds of test plan A etc, when you check and create a test plan B, all the history of the test plan A including execution status will be copied

this is related to your server, you must have opened in https://localhost/testlink

try open with http://localhost/testlink.

first point I still dont understand one thing, When it ends with zero which indicates that there are no requiremnets

What is your database is it mysql or mssql,

There was no issues with XAMPP+MYSQL in win xp, i can not say the results in ubuntu as i dont have.

HI Amit,
I knew your trying to do it on some x server in Linux, try install XAMPP linux version, that should install database and everything, this might solve your problem.
