Hello everyone!
I'm trying to migrate from version 1.9.6 to 1.9.7 using an existing database and following all steps on the readme document. Even though, I'm not able to do it. After I update my configuration files on the new installation folder and run all db scripts for the update, when I open up testlink it shows me an error. Does anybody know how to solve it or had the same issue during this process?
Thanks in advance!

I know my answer is not going to solve this problem, but I suppose can help you (IMHO) on your next posts.
IMHO nobody can provide any kind of help, with the level of details you have provided.
Or at least you are forcing people to ask things, that you already know when posting, but you do not have written.
Unfortunately I face same issue every day at my regular work.
Sentences like:
>> ...when I open up testlink it shows me an error.
provide no info, this is similar to call your help desk and say ' hey guys the printer does not work.'
You are providing no clues.
Without any offense:
please give a look to any article on internet that explain how to post providing meaningful info.
(on this forum I have provided some examples and links)

Hello fman,
I accept what you said here but its also difficult to get help even if we have made things clear
Example: I am still waiting for some help to my previous post.

Thanks

You can not expect IMHO immediate help when your are working in the open source FREE world.
You have a big advantage is open source, you have the code => you can try to debug for your self.
IMHO you can not said: if I provide good info I get no answer, then I will provide not enough info because I'm going to get no answer.
If this is your idea then is better do not ask anyway

I never said anything wrong. I said even if the problem statement is clear it is not easy to get any response so I meant it is very tough when the problem is not clearly explained. This is the only thing I wanted to say.
