Hi,
I am running Testlink 1.6.3 on an Apache server. This means we can go to http://testlink internally to bring up the website. We can also goto http://server/testlink.
If i go directly to http://testlink the icons and logos are missing. there are errors in the logs showing it is trying to read them from the default icons folder.
File does not exist: /var/www/icons/company_logo.png, referer: https://testlink/login.php
Does anyone have any ideas on this? it works fine for other systems (e.g. Mediawiki).

Im running VISTA, with 'The Apache Software License, Version 2.0', PHP downloaded in:

I got MS SQL too.
When I tried the installation in Internet Explorer, it keeps on showing a confirmation screen that says 'Run Save OK'. But when I tried Firefox browser and open the installation using this path, file:///C:/Users/Jojo/Downloads/testlink_170/testlink_170/install/index.php, i got this:

The Testlink installation guide in pdf says ' Transfer the Testlink installation file to your webserver. You will need to telnet/ssh into the server machine for the next steps.'
How to do that? What are those files to be transferred and which folder it will go to? I am sorry, I am just new to these technologies. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

timbo, I think that if you use virtual address, there is broken path for images.
You can check the path in generated html core (CTRL+U in firefox) and compare with reality - structure of your files on web server.
padlanau, don't mess topics. Your problem is different. Anyway, you don't use telnet/ssh because you work on localhost (not on remote server). Ask somebody who understand webservers.
