Hi, I have used test link in a previous job and Im now in a new job with no test management tool in use.
I would like to implement test link as the tool will prove to be very useful.
The problem is that im not sure where to start, with the installation as i cant find much in the way of instructions.
Can anyone tell me if there is any documentation for the latest version of test link available and point me in the right direction to where I will find it?
I have done several forum searches and have not found anything.
Google search has come up with a guide at the following location here
http://testlink.sourceforge.net/docs/do ... ation.html
However this is for version 1.5 so I’m not sure if the will be relevant to version 1.9
I should point out that I’ve not yet downloaded the installation files.
Can anyone confirm if the documentation for installing the product is included in the download files?
Thanks

Re: Installation help finding documentation
As far as I know the installation manual is not included among the download files.
The latest official manual I found is in github. You can navigate to it from Testlink's webpage. It's for release 1.9 but it still is quite old (current stable is 1.9.16).
Searching the web you might find more updated, yet unofficial guides like this one for CentOS Linux.
Among docker images at Docker Hub Bitnami's is the most popular one and is documented.

Re: Installation help finding documentation
Correction: Yes, the installation manual is distributed among the download files.
Current version is 7 years old now. It is a pdf file. Is there a possibility to publish or send me its source? I'm guessing there must be a MS/Open/LibreOffice source file
. I might spend some time updating it
.
I might also send improvement suggestions if any author is willing to edit it.
