About - Test case execution with status

Hi

While Test case execution, the Test cases which are in Finalized status alone will be considered for the test case execution or it will consider any status ie.Draft, review etc. related test cases for the execution.
Could you please suggest.

there are few special logic implemented in TestLInk regarding these status, you can use all according your needs. Look for documentation in Internet for different approaches

We checked and noted that we are able to execute the test cases which are in ‘Draft’ status. I checked the process using this tutorial https://www.guru99.com/testlink-tutoria ... e.html#14A

Could you please suggest reason behind this - like why TestLink is allowing the execution of test cases even if they are in 'Draft' status.

Also I am not able to find a documentation describing the logic associated with the status of the test cases and their execution. If you know, could you please share the reference links

reason is freedom, forcing people to work in some way through a system workflow is sometimes very rigid.
