LOCALIZE: bts_connection_problems

Hi....

I successfully installed TestLink and its kool working with the tool.

Thanks to the Developers!!!

I m getting the error 'LOCALIZE: bts_connection_problems' in the Execute page of the tool. I think this will cause problems when i try to integrate TL with a bug tracking tool. Pls provide me suggestions to correct this error.

1. please do a post regarding your company on the forum
2. not enogh info to help you. Try to check if you can connect to you BTS db

may be is my impresion or my poor english, but think your thanks are more complaint.

I would like to clear that:
1. is impossible to solve a problem without enough info.
2. anyone can try to understand what is happening adding a bit of echoes.
3. As I've suggested get our xampp with TL and mantis preinstalled and up and running to use it as a model.
4. we can not do more that what are doing to help users.
5. As you can see no other user seems willing to help, and this is a pitty because what dev team can not do, must be done by users

U have misunderstood me. Sorry, if i created an impression of complaint.

I checked for db connection as you told.
Making the following changes in php.ini file (of PHP) made it work.

Short_open_tag = On
Magic_quotes_gpc = On

And most importantly, Uncomment the line
extension=php_mysql.dll

OK, great.
Scuse me if I sound not polite or rude. Surelly part of communication problems is that written communication lack a lot of important elements.

Because I'm also an user of Open Source app, I normally try to dig code or at least config files to understand what is happening.
Unfortunatelly IMHO users of TL are a little bit lazy and do not read config files.
You can see lot of this kind of post in this forum.
