Testlink Upgrade Problem (1.6.2 to 1.7.x)

Hi there !

I´ ve got a serious problem upgrading a TL 1.6.2 installation to version 1.7.x .
I tried several things, but not even one thing worked.
First all the infos needed:
TL version: 1.6.2
MySQL version: 5.0.32
PHP Version: 5.2.0.8

The things I tried:
- Installing and then upgrading to the following versions of TL:
-1.7.0
-1.7.1
-1.7.2
-1.7.3
After searching for older posts on this issue I also tried the instructions of
fman as shown in the following posts:

The results vary from non-functional TL (dozens of DB-Errors,starting with:-- - Connecting to the database 'testlink' : 1054 - Unknown column 'upgrade_ts' in 'order_clause" - SELECT * FROM db_version ORDER BY upgrade_ts DESC_LIMIT) to semi-functional TL (no DB Errors, but also no Data in the resulting version)

Is there any way to fix this problem (I didn´t find anything in Mantis either)?

you need to
1. install 1.7.3
2. run MIGRATION not upgrade

First of all, thanks for your quick response.

I forgot to write that one down... sorry.
I also tried Migration with every version.

What could be possible reasons for that problem ?

a) zip file with your 1.6 code
b) zip file with a dump of your 1.6 DB

Hello fman,

I´ m sorry, but theres no possibility to send you the database.
Is there a way for me to do the migration myself ?
Is there any description or howto ?
