After Upgrading testlink 1.7.0 to 1.7.4 perfomace is slow

Post by narayanan »

Hi,

I have upgrated testlink version from 1.7.0 to 1.7.4 i am able to upgrade sucessfully but when i click on the specification tab and the folders the perofmace is very slow it takes more than 5 mins for me to view the test cases. i have more tham 10,000 test caes availble. but with 1.7.0 it is much faster when compared to 1.7.4. could someone help me with a solution i am not sure whether its a problem with the version 1.7.4 or do i need to do some thing to increase the performance.

Post by narayanan »

Hi,

Thanks for the suggession :) . i have upgraded Test link 1.7 to 1.8 it is damn good. quite a lot of new features and excellent performance. but i am getting a "Configuration err" which is something like this

"There are warnings on your configuration
See details on file: C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\testlink\logs\config_check.txt"

and i also would like to integrate Mantis with Test link 1.8. Could you please help me in doing this. once again thank you.

So what do the contents of that file tell you? We can't read the file from here.

1. See the config.inc.php file [yes, you will need to make a change]
2. Find the section [Bug Tracking systems] note the available options!
3. Modify the variable (beneath the option list) for your specific bug tracker system
4. Make sure to modify the 'other' file reference (located to the right of your specific option)

That should get you started, post another reply should there be more issues.
