Unable to login after fresh installation on Linux

Post by mtong »

I have completed new installation of 1.7.5 on Linux, however, I am NOT able to login. When I try to access this URL https://hostname/testlink/login.php, I just get a blank page.
When I click back button, it displays error:
“ Checking PHP DB extensions Warning!: Your PHP installation don't have the extension - without it is IMPOSSIBLE to use Testlink.Failed! “
Any ideas?

I am using Apache2, mysql V5 and PHP v5.2.5.

Thank you!

I downloaded 1.8.2 and completed new installation. It still returns same error.

Thanks so much for your reply. We found a fix for this issue by for remove : ; in front of that line extension=php_mysql.so in all three files:

/etc/php5/apache2/php.ini
/etc/php5/cli/php.ini
/etc/php5/fastcgi/php.ini
