newbie question: can't find dbUpgrade.php

currently having testlink 1.8.3 installed
downloaded latest 1.8.4
and it's running ubuntu.

the upgrade instruciton says:

Create a new empty MySQL database.

From a browser run <testlinkwebdir>/install/dbUpgrade.php

After a successful upgrade you should remove the install directory for security reaso

questions:
1) under folder /var/www/testlink/install, there is no dbUpgrade.php
unzipped downloaded 1.8.4, under ./install, there is no dbUpgrade.php either.

2) when create a empty Mysql database, what name it should be? it already has a db name - testlink, it can be anyname? testlink2 ? not sure how the upgrade works.

Between the 1.8.x versions, there were no DB changes -- just application-side files.
