mssql extension installation error

Hi

I am installing testlink 1.8.5 on Windows 2003 using sql server.

Having upgraded the server to use PHP 5.3 am I now getting stuck on the installation with this error.

Checking PHP DB extensions Warning!: Your PHP installation don't have the mssql extension mssql- without it is IMPOSSIBLE to use Testlink.Failed!

It is my understanding that PHP 5.3 does not use this extension but should use this Microsoft one.

I have installed it but I am still getting the same error.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
