Help- Problem installing TestLink 1.6.4

Please help,

I am getting the following error message:

Creating connection to Database Server:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in c:\webs\test\testlink\install\installNewDB.php on line 144

I have installed Apache, MySQL and PHP5 and using Firefox browser.

mysql-support ist not active by default in PHP5. check the PHP-documentation for enabling it.

I am following a workshop which is quite useful and tested MySQL successully. But still having roblem installing TestLink.

But for some reason, Testlink nstallation fails.
Any other suggestuins??

MySQL is enabled by default on a fedora installation. (unless bugzilla runs w/ out!)
