Test Cases without ID

Post by neutron80k »

Hi,

I use TestLink 1.8.3 on Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition with XAMPP Lite 1.7.2 (Apache 2.2.12, PHP 5.3.0).

Everything was working fine for about two weeks (we created test projects, suites and test cases) until I created a new test case yesterday.
The new test case showed up in the tree, but it had no ID and it was not possible to edit or even open the test case (GUI message: search returned invalid result).

I thought that the database might have been damaged so I restored a backup from last week, but the problem still occurs. I also restored a backup of the XAMPP package, but no success.

I checked the Apache, TestLink and SQL Server logs, but I could not find anything that points to the source of the problem.

Has anybody experienced this before?

Regards,
Matthias

It looks strange. Could you check Apache or TestLink log? There could be some error.

I already checked the logs, but I could not find any errors.

I decided to switch to MySQL instead and it works fine there.
