I've just done a totally new, clean install of 1.9.2, which works just fine (with some warnings, but it explicitly tells me nothing fatal). As soon as I try to browse to the new site, I get a 500 error, and the following line turns up in my apache log:
PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function getDisplayName() on a non-object in C:\\Program Files\\Apache Software Foundation\\Apache2.2\\htdocs\\testlink\\192\\lib\\general\\navBar.php on line 96, referer: http://testlink/192/index.php
Ideas?
