Perhaps I'm missing something, but the directions for doing the manual upgrade from 1.9 to 1.9.1 seemed clear. I'm using MySQL. We have a lot of data in our testlink database. We have been using 1.9 for a few months now and we wish to upgrade to 1.9.2 for its new features. The instructions are to manually run the a couple sql scripts to update the database. It seems simple.
First I run the script in install/sql/alter_tables/1.9.1/mysql/DB.1.4/step1. The script is named "db_schema_update.sql" I run it manually in the mysql command line client using the root DB admin account. I get no errors. Next, I run the script in install/sql/alter_tables/1.9.1/mysql/DB.1.4/stepZ. That script is named "z_final_step.sql". I also run this script manually in the mysql client. I do not get any errors here either.
Now comes the problem. I clear my browser's cookies and history and try to bring up the testlink login page and I am redirected to install/index.php, where apparently I can do nothing. I am neither doing a new install nor am I doing an upgrade from a 1.8x version. I once again clear all my browser cookies, close the browser and for good measure stop and restart both the Apache server and the MySQL servers. I bring back up my browser and attempt to go to the TestLink login page and once more I am redirected to the installation page.
What am I missing? The manual upgrade scripts both seemed to run just fine. Is there another step that I am failing to perform? I don't see one in the instructions. Just, manually run the SQL scripts is the only thing I see that I need to do.

Re: Upgrade From 1.9 to 1.9.1 Infinate Loop
I found what I was doing incorrectly. The configuration scripts from the previous 1.9 instance were not being copied over as they should have been. I have it working now.
Re: Upgrade From 1.9 to 1.9.1 Infinate Loop
I'm glad that you have it working now, seems that i don't really need to upgrade to another version because i can still make use of this old version, but this will be helpful because when the time comes that i need an upgrade i know now what to do.
