Testlink 1.7 and Mantis 1.0.8 Intergration Problems LinuxAS5

Post by Scott »

hello there

wondering if ANYONE can help me as iam pulling my hair out with this niggly

i have mantis up and running on its todd and iam happy with that without problems, i also have testlink fully up and running and i am also happy with this. these both live on the same server, iam using mysql for this too

my problem is ONLY when i link the 2 together

when i specify in custom_config.inc.php the bug system to use for example MANTIS it then puts me to the dreaded white page problem ive read about on here. In the custom config file when i set it back to NO it works ok, if i then go to the config.inc.php file and in here specify mantis , i am STILL able to login but i do NOT get any of the migration functionality iam looking for in the execute tests bit when you fail a test. eg what its meant to do etc

i have configured the following files to what i can see the right criteria, specifiying the host (using an ip address) and i know all the users and passwords are ok and ive created a mantis viewer user etc and specified that

the files are

testlink/lib/bugtracking/int_bugtracking.php
testlink/lib/bugtracking/int_mantis.php

testlink/config_db.inc.php
testlink/config.inc.php
testlink/custom_config.inc.php

testlink/cfg/mantis.cfg.php

i would like to see copies of working config files that people are using this may help me in where iam going wrong

many thanks

Scott

I've done as much as tests as possible on my laptop (windows XP, apache, php 5.x), and I've no problems with mantis.

The only choice for users is start adding echos to debug, becuase
i have no way to help them.
The most I can do (done for scott) is send a working (my) configuration

Regards
