Session automatically expires

Post by nosenia »

I am a tester running into the following problem. If I open a Test Case in edit mode to make changes and I take a while to write my changes then click on the "Update" button, I am automatically kicked out of my edit mode. Instead of seeing my updated test case, I see the login screen. If I login, the changes I was making have not been saved. How can I solve this problem? I am thinking there must be a session time out parameter that can be set somewhere so that this does not happen because sometimes I end up losing work.

Session timeout if configuration of your web server (probably Apache). TL doen't modify this value.

I too faced this problem, I have asked my system administrator to set the php session timeout to 2 days, in apache configuration file. The problem got solved.
