Installation Failed on Globals (PHP.INI)

Hi all,

I'm trying to install Testlink 1.7.1 using the install/index.php page, by "New Installation" link. But it's failed on "PHP Register Globals", which is turned ON at php.ini file.

I can't edit the php.ini file because it's shared to another applications on my host server. The host support team told me that they had change a .htaccess file on my www root turning off the "register global" variable. When I run the phpinfo.php page, the "register global" variable is shown turned off. However, when I run again the install/index.php page, testlink setup still claim for a "register global" variable to be turned off.

What I'm doing wrong?

As far as I know, .htaccess has nothing to do with php.ini.

You have one choice:
comment control on TL installation, install and test it.
