Upgrading version 1.9.6 to latest gitoriuos code

What's up! I was trying to upgrade my testlink installation from version 1.9.6 to 1.9.8 (in development). To do so, I followed the instructions on the readme file, but unfortunately, I didn't get it. Is there anyone who could help me and show me a walkthrough? I want to update my current version to get rid of a bug…
