Converting db from an old tool and importing into testlink

My company uses a home grown tool (mysql backend/perl template(cgi)/bugzilla) with a completely different naming system and db structure than testlink....I'm doing an eval on testlink to see if we could replace this old system with TL. Without altering any of the existing data I want to import/copy the db into the testlink tables....but I'm not sure if tools for this already exist or what the best method is for going about this task. Any guidance would be appreciated
