How to create a new version of TestSuite ?

Hi ! I am trying to create different versions for a single TestSuite using the testlink api and the createTestSuite method where I add the optional argument actiononduplicatedname which I set on creating new version.

The fact is that this configuration a new TestSuite with the same name in my testlink tree...
Surely I made a mistake but I can't see where...

In TestLink Test suites have NO VERSION you can not create several versions of a TEST SUITE.
IMHO you firts need to fully understand how system works using GUI i.e. what can be done and can't, before asking for feature /method on API
