SQL Server 2008 (in 2005 compatibility mode)

Post by oileanach »

Hi All,

I am just wondering is there many of you out there using SQL Server 2008 with Testlink 1.9? I know this DB is unsupported but i was under pressure from management to use this.
Firstly, i would like to ask is - if SQL 2008 is in 2005 compatibility mode is this the same as using SQL Server 2005?

Secondly, i have seen a bug in my environment when inserting a step.. http://mantis.testlink.org/view.php?id=4078
Is there anyone else out there who is using SQL Server 2008 who has seen this? If you have not this suggests that this is something that has gone wrong with my installation?

Thanks,

Oileanach

Still having issues? I used SQL 2008 and didn't have to use compatibility mode, I just had to make a couple edits to inserting a step.
