Exporting Test Reports

Post by MatsWolpers »

playing with tl 1.9.0 on xampp.

i entered a fake project, a few testsuites and -cases, made some testplans and entered a few test results to see what reporting could do. i can study all the reports on offer in the browser. this is satisfactory. however:

observation 1:
the reports made for openoffice-calc and ms-excel contain hyperlinks ( which, in the excel case, did not work, but that's another matter )

so, if i used this at my place of work and made a test report for my customer, he would receive a lot of links pointing to things he has no access to ( because that stuff would be in our company intranet )

is there a way to make these reports self contained?

observation 2:
the html reports can not be exported to file, is that correct? ( save as from the browser menue is not helpful in this case ).
that'd be a shame, our process police people love to see snapshots of preserved state ;-)

thanks, mats

for each thing you think is and issue or feature request, use our standard procedure:
check on our mantis for duplicates.
if nothing is found -> open an issue with as much as possible details -> the more you work the higher possibility dev team will consider request.
