Where is the"Analyse" function of requirement?

Post by philips2005 »

In the previous version(1.8.X), there is a feature:Analyse to get a overview about the requirement and cases;
which can support the matrix between the REQ and cases.

However, I did not find this feature in TL1.9. Could someone shared how can I get the matrix?
In the current design in TL1.9, there is only "Requirement overview",which support the coverage data, but not the cases.
Also in the REQ based report, I can not find the case matrix.

I am afraid that you need to use the Requirement overview in stead. As far as I can see that is the only way to get coverage information of any kind.

This is really a backwards step. The new Requirement Overview is not nearly as useful as the old Analyse button.

New requirments system may be better for small numbers of requirments. Unfortuantly, I typically have between 500 and 2000 requirments for most projects. The table view is not an effetive interface for managing many requiremnts. The analyze feature in testlink 1.8 was more useful. Also, coverage analysis is now dependent on entering the expected number of test cases for each requirment unless you set all requiremnts to type of informational. See mantis 4200 & 3706.

Let me know which information is missing. Requirement based Report should offer the same information.
Please also make sure before answering you have read the hint text below requirement based report.

Requirement Overview should serve the purpose to allow users to sort/group/filter by modification date/coverage/custom fields to get a quick overview of what the state of your requirements is.
