Testlink 1.9 Prague integration with Mantis 1.1.8

Post by sgaucho »

Hi,

After 2 days of searching and trying everything available out here and in other forums, have to post this request!

I am trying to integration TL 1.9 Prague with Mantis 1.1.8 without success. What I have done so far:

1. Enabled anonymous_login in Mantis config_inc.php

2. Configured Testlink's /cfg/mantis.cfg.php & custom_config.inc.php

3. Restarted Apache

and nothing.

I had previously integrated Testlink 1.8 with Mantis in another installation without any problems. Dunno why TL 1.9 is giving me so much headache.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :D

P.S: I cant use XAMPP since this is an ongoing project and other security aspects.

tx,

Hello,

I downloaded the XAMPP testlink-1.9.beta4 with mantisbt-1.2.1 package to test on my local machine but its not working either. I thought that the XAMPP version would come configured for Testlink and Mantis to work but appears that it doesnt :(

I followed all the steps again in the doc -> http://www.teamst.org/_tldoc/1.7/tl-bts-howto.pdf but to no avail.

Seem to be missing something here so appreciate any suggestions.

Is there any debug mode/ logs that can be activated to verify the problem with the integration?

What I cant figure out is even if the integration is not working, atleast the "Bug Management" field should appear in Testlink but nada..

Any suggestions on what to look/ troubleshoot for?

Hi Vaibhavsharma81:

Could you please show the changes you made to /cfg/mantis.cfg.php & custom_config.inc.php?
Perhaps there is a typo we can see.
Also, as you did this once before, I don't suppose you have a backup of the two files from your previous installation?
I can only speculate that a conflict with the older installation, or perhaps a typo might lie at the core of the problem you are having.
