Hello chaps,
I can't seem to get TestLink to reflect the actual time - it always seems to be out by an hour, I can't get it to go right. I've tried looking in the documentation, trawling through the code and even checking the time/date settings on our host server - and nothing works.
I know I'm light on details, but I don't have a great deal to go on. If you think you have an idea let me know and I'll try getting whatever details you need out to you.
Thanks,
Matt

1 hour ? smells of GTM+1 or something like this.
TL uses local date/time to write dates

Re: Timestamp out by 1 hour
Ok, how do I go about setting it back to standard GMT?
Re: Timestamp out by 1 hour
Timezone is picked up by PHP configuration. See this post:

Re: Timestamp out by 1 hour
Brilliant - that looks like the the right place. Now how do I set it to read for standard GMT? Tried Europe/London, London, GMT, Europe/GMT, UTC......
Is there somewhere else I need to look to make this change applicable, do I need to restart my server to read this time, anything like that?

Re: Timestamp out by 1 hour

As with everything, I'm sure it's easy when you know how - I just don't know how!!

I've raised a Mantis issue on this now - we've done a fair bit of work on this here and it seems like there is an issue between TestLink and PHP changing it's date.timezone codes that hasn't been resolved.
If we're wrong about this, please correct us and tell us how to change the date.timezone.
