System Requirements for Testlink

We're going to install Testlink (including Mysql, Apache, PHP) on a VM machine. I've done that on different environment but not VM.

Can somebody advise on the system requirement for testlink (e.g. CPU, Mem, HD, ...) Does Testlink and other necessary pieces works with server OS (e.g. 2008)

Any advice is much appreciated.
