Hello all,
In my environment we have two separate instances of TestLink running - one to clean & stage test cases from our previous TCMS, and the other "clean" instance to use for execution & new test cases going forward. The team is enjoying TestLink as a vast improvement over our previous system so far.
There is a small problem we run into with our environment, however: I'm having an issue where if a team member has both instances open in the same browser but on different tabs, then the team member will get automatically logged in as a seemingly random user, including the administration account.
I'm currently looking through the session_start() areas of the code to diagnose the issue, but nothing jumps out at me yet. A search of google and these forums did not turn up anything, but was wondering if anyone had seen this behavior before.
Thanks in advance,
-Matt

Re: Two instances of TestLink in two browser tabs
this is unfortunatelly a known issue, and we have started to work to solve (BLOCK) it.
testlink versions < 2.x (on development but without release date), too much info in stored in session, an tabbed browser do not open a new session for each tab.
Right now => there is no solution.
You can do some search on our mantis, to understand what will be our approach (http://mantis.testlink.org/view.php?id=4342)
