Hi there,
I'm a newbie an work with TL 1.9.3. So far i got around 3000 Requirements in the System and now try to link them with the testcases - and here is my issue:
When I open the 'Assign Requirements' (in Edit Test Case) a new Window pops up with a dropdown menu 'Requirement Specification Document' . I expected the same tree as in 'Requirement specifiacation' but unfortunatly there are all Sections listed with title and dots instead of doc_id. I got many Sections and Subsections so this is very annoying to find the right Requirement.
I found in testproject.class.php the function _createHirachyMap() and the 'dotted' case. But unfortunately I'm not in php at all.
So my question:
Can I set up the 'Requirement Tree' in this field? and how?
Or is there a way to show the doc_id in this dropdown menu instead of the dots - would be a workaround for me?
Or is there a way to get the Filters for the dropdown menu that would be very helpful as well.
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks in advance!

No without development

No, filters are not available
Best option is register on Mantis site and add a very detailed requirement for a feature request.
Do not think best option will be the tree, but may be possibility to provide input to fill in fill reqdoc id (something similar to add bug feature)
