Help with adding filtered test cases to test plan

Post by billym »

Scenario (version 1.9.3): I have approx. 10,000 test cases in different suites in Testlink and 3,428 are marked as execution type automated while the remaining are set to manual. I want to add only the automated test cases to the test plan so I choose project from the top menu, then select my test plan that I will be working with and click on "Add / Remove Test Cases ". When the page loads I go to the filter on the left and select Execution Type: Automated then click apply. The tree count for the test cases seem to reflect the filter appropriately but when I select a suite at any level it displays all the test cases within, not just the automated ones as expected. Does nayone have a fix for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

no way with 1.9.3, you have to wait till next week when 1.9.4 will be released.

it would be great if you can send us your db to do some test (before backuping it truncate event logs and transactions TestLink tables)
