You can make a Test Report in MS Word format.
1) Go to Reports page and select either "Test Plan Report" or "Test Report".
2) Select "MS Word" from dropdown menu
3) Enable/disable items that you want to be in the report
4) click on project or any single test suite in "Reports" page to get the report in Word format.

Thanks ,
but I was asking for the section ' Test Specification ' and not so much for the Reports.
Idea is to send these Test cases to the customer , so that they too can verify the test scenarios.
so the need is ' Test Specification ' / or 'Test Execution' ------> to a Word document .
*at present I can only send the ' Test Specification ' / or 'Test Execution' ---->to XML file,
TIA

What about the using: Generate Test Specification Document that is present with
Test Specification
Assign Keywords
Generate Test Specification Document

Generate Test Specification Document

When you're getting a test report, you have different options to select. For example you can select only "Test summary", so the report looks like this:
Test Case EXA: Test case example 01
Summary:
Write the objective of the test case clearly here. The definition should be so well that doesn't need any interpretation or assumption.
Execution type: Manual
Priority: Medium
This is the simplest form of a test specification in Word format and includes only test title and test objective, which says what feature you're evaluating. You can add steps and expected result, if your customers are interested to know how you evaluate features.
Any how, I think test report can do the job. As I know a test report covers all necessary information, unless you don't like the format that it is printed out.

Hi
@ fman : where is this 'Generate Test Specification Document that is present with' located ?
all I can locate at the time is : Test Specification---> by clicking the top node of my Test specifications(left hand tree view)--->export all testsuites--->file type = XML ( should I have seen word here ? )
@ aostad: checking the tick boxes(Test Plan Report) does divert the test cases to a word document [ Test Case Scenario & Test Case Summary are ticked ON] but the test steps are not present in the word file. For e.g., I will get something like:
'ABIS support engineer Tasks (automatically generated from req. spec.) (3)' ........... [ but I do not see the '3' steps ] . Printing the report WITH the steps would be what I am looking for (now it seems that adding the steps would be a manual task, wouldn't it ?) .

If you have steps in your test cases, by selecting "Scenario" in "Test Report" or "Test Plan Report", you should see steps of test cases in your MS Word document.
When you create test cases from requirements automatically, test cases with empty steps will be generated as requirements don't have test steps. In this screenshot, I have a test suited with one test case generated from requirement doc automatically. the test cases doesn't have steps. then I added another test case manually with test steps. For printing, I selected "Summary" and "Scenario" and this the result:

Re: Testlink test cases to word
I need to correct my previous email. I have generated the document (attached screenshot ) from "Generate Test Specification Document" not from "Test Report"
