Testlink architecture to understand the flow

Hi everybody , I need to customize some reports in Resultmatrix, the default fields doesnt supply what I need for.
How can I do these fields ? I need to understand the architecture to begin the new columns in the reports. Is there any documents to explain how it works ?

1) I hope that you are going to share your work
2) there is no way to configure reports, other than changing the code.
Sometimes is easy to understand the file to start with (name is present on link on the link that allows you to run the report) other times is a little bit hard.
There is no development documentation available
