Question about how results by top level suites works

Post by forget-me-not »

Hi,
I can't seem to find the answer anywhere so I was wondering :

The table "Results by top Level Suites" in Test Reports under General Test Plan Metrics, is that table detailing only the tests that have been most recently executed?

ex. I have the same test run on multiple platforms, will Results by top level suites show that test as being run twice or will it only show it as the latest run? (so - will it be counted twice if it's been run twice or does the table only count the latest execution?)

So say I have test A and I've run it twice with Platform A (first time) and Platform B (second time).
The results for top level suites will count that test only once right? (With the result being whatever happened when I ran it with Platform B)?

Thanks!!

a silly question:
have you tried to set up a playground test project , test plan , platforms and so on and check what you get?
it's not clear for me if you have done this.
Doing this kind of exercises allow you to learn more about the tool
Unfortunately there are enough resources to develop, test and maintain/create documentation.
With your findings you can contribute with some simple help to user community
