How to set custom status for a test case in 1.9.19?

Good afternoon.

I have read and reread some posts, but I have not yet been able to successfully and efficiently add new status to Testlink 1.9.19.

I believe there are a lot of files to edit and the documentation of this version is not updated.

Someone here has been able to add new statuses to testlink with the emoticons and can tell me which files should I change please?

I already changed:

custom_config.inc.php
locale / en / custom_strings.txt

and other files, to no avail.

Obs: If anyone knows the effective walkthrough to change and add status, please post here and I am willing to update the documentation to the next versions.
