Porting of trac plugin to new XML-RPC library

Post by giulix »

Hi all, new user here :)

I was wondering, since with the new versions Testlink will be using this XML-RPC library, why not port the trac plugin (currently using no-longer-maintained IXR Inutio XML-RPC library) to the new library? This would be beneficial to all (I'm one) who have problems accessing a trac server requiring authentication without applying Darren's patch. Does it make sense ?

Testlink and Trac using phpxmlrpc

Post by istream »

Hi,
I am a new user, using Testlink and Trac, on Fedora12. Both the pieces are working fine. The issue I have is that of making xmlrpc work between the two. I have followed Darren's cure as well, but i always get BUG ID not found in BTS error.
Would really appreciate if anyone who has this working, can help me out.
Thx

think we have a bug on the NOT IMPLEMENTED check bug id validity method. just look for the method and force it to return TRUE

Can you please point to the file which would have this method defined, so can change it to return TRUE.
Thx
